Public Hearing for 2020-51-SUP Subsurface Construction Company

Subsurface Construction Company (1107 Fuller St, Raleigh) has acquired 10 acres of land along Bear Farm Road in Selma’s ETJ (extraterritorial planning jurisdiction area).  The company intends to build one single story office building (6,587 sf) and a warehouse (5,250 sf) on the site they purchased near the intersection of US 70 W and Bear Farm Road.  Site improvements proposed consist of the two structures, a paved access drive and parking area adjacent to the office building.  A fenced, gravel service yard will be located adjacent to the warehouse building.  A quasi-judicial hearing will be held on October 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM in the Selma Civic Center where both a Special Use Permit (SUP) and a Major Site Plan will be considered.  Copies of both applications are available via the Town’s website and in the Planning Department.  Interested parties may reach the Planning Director by calling (919) 965-9841, ext. 1006.
