2026 Founder’s Day Celebration

Join us for the Annual Town of Selma Founders’ Day Celebration as we honor our rich history and look ahead to a bright future as a proud railroad town.

This special evening will bring together community members, local leaders, and friends of Selma for a time of connection, reflection, and celebration. Guests will enjoy an engaging program highlighting the legacy of our town, along with opportunities to gather and celebrate all that makes Selma unique.

Food and refreshments will be provided as you mix and mingle with fellow attendees in a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.

2026 Town of Selma Earth Day Cleanup Event

Join the Town of Selma for our annual Earth Day Cleanup as we come together to keep our community clean, green, and beautiful!

Volunteers of all ages are invited to lend a hand in making a visible impact throughout town. Whether you’re picking up litter, planting flowers, or helping with beautification projects, every effort makes a difference.

Participants will meet at Selma Town Hall before being assigned to cleanup locations across town. This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with others, and take pride in our community.

📍 Meeting Location: Selma Town Hall, 212 N. Raiford Street

4th Annual Downtown Selma Wine Walk

4th Annual Downtown Selma Wine Walk | Friday, Apr 24 from 5 pm to 9 pm

The Selma PTCO is bringing you the Town of Selma’s 4th Downtown Wine Walk event on April 24th! Wine by Hinnant Family Vineyards!

Presented by the Selma PTCO and sponsored by HTR Southern Properties, the wine walk features the delicious wine provided by Hinnant Family Vineyards!

Check-in for the event will be located inside HTR Southern Properties.

Participants will receive a passport mapping out your journey through amazing sips of wine and the beautiful downtown area.

Online ticket sales will end at 12:00 PM on April 24th, but tickets will be available for purchase at check-in.

Selma Railroad Days Pageant

Applications Now OPEN for the 2025 Miss Selma Railroad Days Pageant!

We’re thrilled to officially open applications for this year’s pageant—and for the first time ever, we’re excited to introduce two brand new categories: Baby Miss (12 months – 2 years) and Wee Miss (3 – 4 years)!

The pageant will take place on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, and we can’t wait to see our next round of shining stars take the stage!

This is a cherished tradition and a beautiful way to celebrate the young ladies of our community, from toddlers to teens.
