The Town of Selma Water/Sewer Department is constantly striving toward excellence in providing our citizens and customers with reliable infrastructure, water, and sewer services.

Water/Sewer Operations consists of two divisions: Sewer & Wastewater Collection and Distribution, and the Water Plant.

Our Mission

The Town of Selma Water/Sewer Department is constantly striving toward excellence in providing our citizens and customers with reliable water and sewer services.

The Town of Selma Water and Sewer Division has 7 employees dedicated to providing safe and reliable water and sewer services for 2,900 customers in and around Selma. The division is responsible for treating an average of 750,000 gallons of water per day, maintaining and repairing 19 sewer lift stations, and 40 miles of water and sewer lines. Other activities in support of water and sewer services include maintaining and repairing water distribution and wastewater water collection system; constructing water and sewer lines; installing water and sewer connection to new homes and businesses; and repairing, installing, and replacing water meters.

Water and sewer division has crews on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, except holidays, from 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. You may reach us at (919) 965-9841 (Town Hall) or (919) 965-9841 ext. 9001 (water plant).
