📚 Selma Public Library Early Closing Notice 📚

The Selma Public Library will close at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, December 2nd in preparation for the Town of Selma Christmas Parade. Thank you for your understanding as our community comes together to celebrate this festive tradition. We hope to see you downtown for the parade! 🎄✨

Yard Debris Pickup Update

The Town of Selma’s yard debris pickup is currently running behind schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. Our Public Works team is working hard to get back on track and collect all remaining debris as quickly and safely as possible.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through the delay. Thank you for helping us keep Selma clean and beautiful!

Upcoming Road Closures for Selma’s Christmas Celebration & Parade

As we prepare for our annual Christmas Celebration and Parade on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6:00 PM, several streets in Downtown Selma will be temporarily closed for the safety of participants and spectators.

Roads Closed from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM:

• W. Richardson Street

• N. Raiford Street

• E. Anderson Street

Please plan ahead, expect delays, and use alternate routes when traveling through the area. We appreciate your patience as we get ready for a magical night in Selma!

The holiday season is quickly approaching, and we want to be sure our residents know when sanitation routes will be running.

Please review the adjusted schedules below:

Thanksgiving

Town Offices Closed: Nov. 27–30

Thursday trash & recycling pickup will move to Friday.

Christmas

Town Offices Closed: Dec. 24–28

Thursday trash & recycling pickup will move to Wednesday.

New Year’s

Town Offices Closed: Jan. 1

All routes will operate on a normal schedule.
