Event Postponed: Polar Bear Run

Due to anticipated winter weather and safety concerns, the Polar Bear Run has been rescheduled.

New Date: Saturday, February 7
Time: 10:00 AM

Registration remains open, and participants may also register on race day. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone at the rescheduled event.

WINTER STORM PREPARATION

Selma is expected to be impacted by a significant winter storm over the next few days.

Please take this storm seriously and prepare now.

What to Expect & How to Prepare:

Hazardous Road Conditions – STAY HOME if possible

Possible Power Outages – Prepare now with food, water, and alternate heat sources

Frozen Pipes – Protect outside faucets immediately

Town crews will begin road treatment this week, and Town departments are actively preparing. Additional staff will be available throughout the weekend to respond as needed.

Inclement Weather Alerts!

Due to inclement weather, all Town of Selma offices, including the Selma Public Library, will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Additionally, all Town of Selma sanitation routes — including garbage, recycling, and bulk pick-up — will be delayed by one day. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to stay safe during these conditions.
